What we look for

Businesses that already work.

We look for businesses with a real operating history, not turnaround projects or ideas that still need proving. We are most interested in real cash flow, customers with a reason to keep buying, and a business that can continue beyond the current owner.

Years of real operations, customers, and results. We are not looking to prove an idea from scratch.
Earnings produced by the business today, not a plan that depends on a future turnaround.
Products or services customers have a reason to keep buying, rather than a short-lived trend.
People, processes, and customer relationships that can support the business after the current owner steps back.
What we do

We buy businesses.

Buying established small businesses is our focus. In some cases, we may also invest in a business when the owner wants to stay involved.

Primary focus · Buy

Considering a full or majority sale?

We can buy all or most of the business. We work with you on an approach that makes sense for the business and the transition you want.

Typical purchase price · $750K–$2M
Selective · Invest

Planning to stay involved?

Sometimes we invest instead of buying the whole business when an owner wants money to grow and plans to stay involved.

Investments · When it makes sense for both sides
Why work with us

Straightforward from the start.

When you talk with us, you stay with the same people throughout the process. We try to keep things straightforward, be clear about where we stand, and take time to understand what you have built before talking about changes.

Early clarityIf we do not think we can get to a deal that works for both sides, we will tell you early rather than keep you waiting.
What matters to youA sale is about more than the numbers. We want to understand your timing, your plans, and what matters to you in the transition.
Understand firstBefore talking about changes, we want to understand how the business works, the people and relationships it depends on, and what customers value.
Information in stagesWe start with the basics. More sensitive information can come later, once there is a good reason for both sides to keep going.

How it works

Know what happens before you start.

A first conversation is not a commitment to sell. We start with the basics and only ask for more detail when it makes sense for both sides to keep going.

01 / Initial conversation

Start with the basics.

Tell us what the business does, how it performs, why you are considering a sale, and what matters to you in a transition.

02 / Review + fit

Decide whether to keep going.

We look at the financials, customers, operations, transition needs, and anything important that could affect a sale. Then we decide together whether there is enough reason to keep going.

03 / Terms + review

Agree on the main terms, then confirm the details.

If we agree on the main terms, we take a closer look at the financial, legal, and operating details so we can confirm what we have learned about the business.

04 / Close + transition

Close and plan the transition.

We finish the legal documents and financing, close the sale, and work through the transition we agreed on together.

A few common questions

Questions worth answering early.

You should know what to expect, what information we will need, and what happens next before spending significant time on a sale.

Do I need to be ready to sell?
No. You can reach out while you are still thinking about timing, what a sale might look like, or whether it makes sense for you. A final decision can come later.
How do you fund a purchase?
We put our own money into every business we buy. Depending on the deal, we may also use a bank loan or other financing.
How confidential is a conversation?
We can start with the basics. We only ask for more sensitive information later, once conversations move forward and it makes sense to keep going.
What happens to the business after a sale?
We start by learning what already works. We do not come in with a preset list of changes. Decisions about people, processes, customers, and brand depend on the business itself.
